Crashes After Latest Update

So twice since the latest update I've tried to play PH. Both times I've crashed when trying to fly with the flamethrower. And apparently I'm not the only one who has crashed.
Is there a way to fix this?

Disable thirdperson, it's a bug with the latest TF2 update.

Valve will likely have an update that will fix it soon.

So, like, the flamethrower particle in thirdperson is causing the crash? How does Valve break the stupidest of things?

Valve breaks everything possible. After all, if they didn't break things, what else would they have to do all day?
