Hi, I'm Silver Mint, I mainly hangout on the Deathrun Hell server, and I hopped on by to play some Zombie Fortress on the Zombie Hell server.

I cannot count the times I've seen multiple scouts running the cleaver-sandman combo. I was just playing a few maps ago, and as the game started, I immediately saw 5 sandman balls and 4 cleavers.

Jesus fuck, if it's running rampant, clearly there is a hint of overpoweredness to it. I mean, why do something else if it doesn't deal fucktons of damage, like the so many cleaver-sandman combos?

its not as op as u think i cause u need to move like hell and never get hit by clevers besides zombies needs something to end the round

It fights against the natural zombie nature of getting in and swarming the survivors.  You aren't swarming very well if the entire team is cleaver scouts, camping across the map chucking guillotines.
My only idea to solve this without banning the item completely is to either increase the recharge time or give it a 1 charge throw so it doesn't recharge until death.
I wouldn't mind such a nerf, it would be completely understandable, but I just don't want things to be completely removed.

dont nerf the clever its so fun to get kills with u see people go flying in the other direction when they get hit by the clever in one hit its so fun people do back flips and stuff

Okay so I noticed the cleaver has it's stuncrits back. How and why?  Those are OP as hell for zombie team.  What happened to the no-critting fix?
Until them I'm going to crit everyone with my Supermurder Skyknife.

To be fair, I usually find myself eventually killed due to some form of stun rather than by any cleaver.  Stun+Cleaver certainly helps zombies on maps like Degroot, and even with this combo survivors have been known to win just about every map I've seen played.

before clever was added people said boston basher should be nerfed and clever i just did a study on does 162 on crit when it use to be 150 or its me cause i have damage thing to say how much damage i did if i keep on atacking but really can we just remove clever cause i seen on other zf they got banned and since the combo is very op which all the admins i was talking too in different zf servers and normal tf2 servers

It will only do more than 150 if there is attack or defense stats happening.  A hunter can easily crit a cleaver for over 250 if they get a hit right after spawning, which is even enough to take out a turtle medic in 1 go.

yea clever needs to be removed or have a damage pently on it since that is so op
Edit:how bout it has a -50% damage on it so it only does 75 on crit
