I feel like removing ranks wouldn't really help. If the truly competitive players still play on the server without ranks, they'll still go for as many kills as possible. Those that are there just for fun will still be upset with the people who are playing extremely competitively, and the same problems will still exist.

That said, I like some of the features of the ranks (time played, weapon kill tracking, weapon records, etc.). Weapon kills/records especially have made prophunt more fun for me, because it's caused me to challenge myself to use weapons/strategies that I might not have used otherwise.

The actual rankings and points don't matter that much to me. It's kind of nice to see when I go up in rank, but not that big of a deal.

I noticed that the eviction notice does normal self-damage per swing (for heavy melee it's 10 points). The eviction notice is a melee that's meant to use more swings in rapid succession to get the job done (-60% damage, +50% firing speed), so it doesn't make much sense for it to have the same self damage.

Currently, if you use the propmenu to switch back and forth between ghost and any other prop, the glow particle effect spawns each time you switch to the ghost, and it's not removed unless you die. If done repeatedly this can make people have major lag, and the person glows extremely bright.

I suggest replacing the ghost model used by the propmenu to one without the glowing particle effect. If you don't have one, I made a version without it. (I just decompiled the mdl file, removed the 2 lines in the qc that related to the particle effect, and recompiled it.)

This map was based on the control point version of Well.
Changes I made:
-Removed the large rooms in which the 1st and 5th control points were located, and sealed off doorways to those areas
-Removed the 2nd and 4th control points  (just the control points, the rooms around them were left intact)
-Changed game mode to arena, since that's what prophunt uses
-Added props
-Made edits to player clip boxes to allow access to some areas (such as the roof of the central building)
-Changed spawn room in central building into normal rooms with props
-Made minor lighting changes
-Added music

A couple of years ago, I had it so that huntsman arrows were replaced with red scouts for me. It was funny to suddenly see a scout flying through the air, and then stab someone through the chest.

Sadly, this was lost at some point. I just figured I'd mention this, since the idea of a flare gun with huntsman arrows was brought up.

I noticed that even though the capture point is available on all maps normally, for most, if not all, maps it is not on the propmenu.
