Spawn camping

We've all seen it. No matter where you go, there is always that one douchebag who likes to spawncamp. Donors on Trading Hell don't have any restraint, so they'll spawn camp until everyone leaves. I know they're supporting the server by donating money (or keys, which can be sold). But still, chasing away potention supporters is actually counter-productive in the "keeping the community alive" sense. I'm not asking for godmode to be removed, I'm asking for a new rule. No spawncamping with godmode.

This isn't usually an issue... But I see where you are coming from. Until the no spawn camping rule is enforced, however, best you can do is push them around as a pyro, taunt lock them with a huntsman, or get another donator to block all of their fire using godmode.

And report it here. Major offenders will probably be taken care of pretty quickly. Trade Hell is supposed to be for trading, not playing. So the points and dominations don't really matter to most people. Though I do agree that a certain godmode asshat can ruin the experience for newcomers and veterans alike.

I've got some code changes in the godmode plugin in the works for preventing spawn camping.

Like what? What do the scripts do to prevent spawn camping?

The change will be automatically disabling godmode for players that walk near spawn points.

Yeah, that'll do it. Are making it to where it only works if a player gets near an opposing spawn?

Actually, thank you Voidy, I can now airblast donors on the other team close to my spawn, and then kill them, causing them to rage.

Who cares if they spawncamp on trading hell anyways? People don't join trading servers just to kill each other, but to actually trade...
