Signature GIFs?

I was wondering, how do you put GIFs in your Profiles' Signature? I tried putting in a link and it just, showed the link. Could someone please explain to me how to do it?

[img  width=100]http://[img  height=100]http://media.giphy.com/media/3ubVogMlVPQk0/giphy.gif

(img) url (/img)
with [ and ] instead
