What do?

Things I've done before this happened:
-Defragmented game files

Dunno if this might've led to this issue.

Things I've done to resolve this issue:

-Played "The waiting game" (Waited forever for it to get to "Sending Client info", never happened)
-Followed the guide here under the MAC section of the guide.

I also use a mac but I still have the same file directory locations for steam and tf2 as a PC user.
Ex:
Windows: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\[SteamUsername]\Team Fortress 2\....
Mac: Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/[SteamUsername]/Team Fortress 2/...

It's an issue that Valve introduced with the MvM update. It was supposedly fixed 2 days ago though, so I'm surprised you're still having the problem. Unfortunately, I also don't know of any workarounds.

Trust me, I'll take a PC ANY day. I can't play shit on this computer.

Maybe one day I'll save up for a gaming PC or something. Depending on how life turns out.

EDIT: Okay I got it to work. I just had to play the waiting game in hardmode and wait until I time out completely. Then rejoin the server.
This MvM thing is awesome but they need to patch the shit out of it even though there have been two patches in the past few hours. I ragequitted after crashing midgame.
