once you fall here you get stuck forever until you die

incase you can't tell, it's right at the start

You actually can get out of there, unless there are 3-4 people in there, you simply crouch and crawl up towads the ramp and out towards the center, it might take awhile. Eventually you will hit a lip that will let you fall towards the hole, and continue with the map. It is a very annoying spot though.
