Because it's a beefed up Demoman. Cave shoots nades that set people on fire, yours shoots higher damage cannon balls. That's what I got from it, anyway.

I can see that, the demoman isn't really persay "Buffed" as it is he is an old demoman with a hunched back and a cannon. But I can see where the similarities between the two lie.

It sounds like cave johnson because it uses projectile weaponry?

[Hale Suggestion] Loose-Screwed Cannoneer

This is a saxton hale suggestion, I do not know if suggestions of a new saxton hale is permitted or not, but if they are, please take a minute and read this.

The Loose-Screwed Cannoneer was a Demoman who wore the Buccaneer's Bicorne, [Aged Mustache] Bearded Bombardier, and carried the Loose Cannon. His skin is also has a tint of grey to it, for the old effect, if possible he also has a hunched back.

The Loose-Screwed Cannoneer sailed the seas of the world, fighting off pirates, federation ships, and other various types of people. He even conquered the great sea god Cthulhu with his Trusty Cannon Named "Ol' Narcissus." One day he washed ashore an island, breaking down from hunger and thirst he chugged down gallons and gallons of ocean salt water, his mistake. For days he walked the island, his eyes bloodshot, his mind... Crazed.

Him and his new self took off on his newly formed... Dingy type ship, with him several coconuts for the journey. After months of water, his dingy crashed onto a barren rock. He climbed onto the rock and before him stood a man whose chest had too much hair, a handsome face to match it, and a unique hat he took a liking to. Saxton Hale and the Loose-Screwed Cannoneer fought for days, Saxton had never met such a powerful opponent.

In The end.... It was a draw.

Saxton Hale invited The Cannoneer to join his gang, and he accepted. After which he introduced him to the Brutal Christian Sniper, The Vagineer, Himself, and Cave Johnson

Notes:

The cannon  would most likely be the same, maybe a moss/rusted type mix retexture if possible. The damage ratio is decreased to 2x Lower Than Saxton Hales Hits, because it is a projectile weapon. If possible, he has a goomba stomp resistance. (will add more notes when necessary.)
