Okay, I don't know what's going on. It says the servers are running a newer version of TF2, but I have everything updated. It happened after the Death Run server restarted, I assume the problem occurs on all the servers, but I've only tried to connect to Death Run Hell and Trading Hell. If anyone knows what's going on and how to fix this, please let me know. I don't want to be shut out of Saxton Hell.

Oh no, I thought it was just Saxton Hell, now it's EVERYWHERE! I can't even play Dustbowl. I'm locked out of TF2! Someone please help!

Did you try validating the files?

No, I don't think I have. How should I do that?

It has to do with how valve is releasing updates post steampipe update. Valve releases the server files first, so clients can't connect to updated servers. In this case they released the client update shortly after so that issue should be fixed.

Well I just recently downloaded the client, I took a break from Steam and just came back not too long ago. Did I gitch Steam by not being logged on?!?

Are you still unable to connect to servers? It should have allowed you by now.
If not, validate the game files by right clicking tf2 in your Steam library, going to properties, clicking on the local files tab, and clicking the "verify integrity of game cache" button.

Thank you, it worked. I was worried for a second. Thanks!
