any boss that can cap (yes, there are some that can't cap) is insta-<3

bosses i hate? the ones that have access to hitscan weapons(bill is an exception due to being surprisingly well balanced for a boss with multiple lives and an SMG). if there was a way we could make it so the shots they fire were like pomson shots at least, i'd like them all, but the one i hate the most is Doctor Who. he takes this to ubsurd levels of OPness by being able to pick up ammo, something that i've been abusing the fuck out of to get a point across whenever i'm him.

want to know what Jakobs can't make?

a good rapid fire weapon. what's the point of them making assault rifles if one cannot hold the damned trigger to fire. sure, thier revolvers and sniper rifles are awesome, but i have to laugh at every assault rifle drop with thier name on it.

but Vladof makes awesome assault rifles, as does Dahl. but that burst fire is situational, like say when one doesn't want to whip out a sniper rifle to snipe (in which case you're doing it wrong), aiming for the critical spots, and other things. Vladof weapons however are just plain awesome to me: you want a Vladof if you want an assault rifle, though i wouldn't blame you if you went to Bandit for the clip size.

also lets be honest here: hyperion makes this game's shit weapons. (unless you fire a lot, in which case you must be a gunzerker.)

I don't like the idea of removing ghosts just because of a few foul eggs. It could be argued that dead players could also lie to alive players to try to trick them into going to the wrong path/side.
It may just me being a grumpy regular, however on maps like trollrun and hotdesert with the guessing traps, it really strikes a nerve when people who are already dead tell someone which way is safe, and I personally would appreciate having ghosts removed for these maps, trollrun in specific.

or you can make them like Breakpoint gaming did back when i played gmod's deathrun, as they encountered some 'exploits from beyond the grave': make the ghosts be unable to stand on or have contact with stuff that is a part of a trap. i think they are all considered entities or something.

A VSH server i was on once, a few maps (actually the majority) were all custom made by the owner, i don't know if its legal or whatever to take some of the maps and put the into the rotation, but the 2 maps were:
vsh_crevice_b2.bsp and
vsh_castle_siege_b9

Don't know if the names help or not, but thats them anyway.

sadly we tried crevice and the admins felt it was too large of a map. castle siege... if they add it in, check to make sure the version has a certain tent exploit fixed, either by deadly jail or by normal means. if not, you have to patch it ASAP through your tools

Now that shit calmed down and (most of) the annoying glitches are patched up, what do you guys think of MvM?

I love it, although I haven't tried Mann Up mode yet. I'd rather have a team full of people I know and are skilled, surplus vouchers/tickets, and actually have time outside of school to play.

Also waiting on more pyroland shit and doomsday/MvM maps.

w-w-when will s-strange rainblowers go up in price? ;_;

i saw a MvM server with cusom maps once. too bad the maps never loaded, which is a shame: MvM has too few maps and no maps with a legit "no hope, might as well kill as many robots as we can before the waves overwhelm us" survival map/mode of MvM, without custom maps/wave-sets.

also MvM sadly went the way of Special Delivery: everyone played it, and then most people stopped doing so, which is also a shame because MvM is something i do find myself going back to every now and then. sometimes i do so with random people, others i find a random, empty server and have my buds (not the hat!) come in to kick robot ass with me.

the only things MvM needs now is a survival mode mod, some more special robots, including one of engineer, though he needs to only use a nerfed minisentry/Gunslinger, or spams pomson shots that reduce less uber and cloak than a pomson a player uses, a battle medic with increased HP but does not heal others and doesn't recieve heals himself (a-la equalizer), perhaps even jumper soldiers who use mantreads. also some more "bosses" that warrant the HP bar like the tank, HHH and monoculus. not some giant robot variants like we have now, something like the kind of creativity that makes a FF2 boss tick, and i'm not counting the tank either since it didn't fight back other than by bringing a bomb to the base.

this thread is for everything stupid you've seen happen in TF2.

for example, seeing a person admit he thinks TF2 is shit and he's playing it anyways, or somebody trying to make millions of dollars with his inventory, to perhaps that guy who assumes that by you having godmode that you are an admin (when you aren't)

that said, time to share the stupidity of TF2's userbase~ after all, truth is funnier than fiction. (as well as stranger)
