I would like to ask if some banned weapons could be unbanned, but maybe nerfed heavily. I don't think we should have to try keep the config as GMs, we should make our server better than theirs
-Weapons and Nerfs
Demoman
Grenade Launcher
+~-60% damage
+Possibly 25% less in clip?
Sticky Launcher
+~-60% damage
+2 max stickies
Loch 'n' Load
+~-70% damage
Soldier
All Rocket Launchers
+~+25-40% damage? (They're hugely underpowered atm)
Medic
Crusaders Crossbow
+~-30% damage
+If it's possible, without healing.
Needles Guns
+Only take 5 damage instead of 10
Spy
Revolvers
+~-25% damage
+~-75% smaller clip
Knives
+No backstabs
Cloaks + Disguises
+Leave banned
The reason I think we should add new weapons, is because people are starting to get very bored.
Some people have so many hours into Prophunt, they've used up all the fun with every other wep.
I assure you, people will have a LOT of fun with grenades :D
I would appreciate you guys giving your opinions on some of these, or adding your own.
I'd really like to see some of these get in the game. :)

i agree with this except for the spy weapons since spys have the ability to see enemy health so if that ability can be removed then it could happen

Demoman:
Any Grenade or Sticky Launcher would severely unbalance the gametype. If every demo gets 2 stickies, then 4 demos = insta kill on any prop wanting to go to the point.
Soldier:
The rocket launchers are perfectly balanced the way they are, considering by the time a soldier finds a prop and shoot it, a pyro is behind the prop flaming it to death.
Medic:
I can see those changes working just fine if the Crossbow has 0 healing. The Syringe taking 5 instead of 10 doesn't seem too bad either.
Spy:
I don't think there is a way to stop the Spy from seeing enemy health. Even then, they would be limited to their revolvers and basically a rubber poker. They were made for backstabs, and I don't see them working well in Prophunt.

I somewhat agree with Sticky Launcher, although I don't think the grenades would unbalance it at all. Every class has a melee and a range weapon, except for Demoman, and with these damage nerfs, and the leading in general, it would actually be less powerful than Pyro shotgun.
If there was some way to stop Stickies being put on CPs, which I doubt, it would be pretty fun, although very difficult if trying to hit a smart prop.

Yeah I actually forgot about seeing health when I wrote dis :3
But, what I was thinking is that what's the point of Medic? If people are going to play medic (some people have thousands of kills)
then why wouldn't they play spy, even if it is heavily nerfed?

gotta remember demo has sticky jumper and charge n targe already so if you were to give him the grenade launcher you'd really have to nerf it

-60% damage is roughly 40 damage, being 3 direct shots for a kill, and there's only 3 shots in the clip. Doesn't seem that bad to me

The thing is nobody cried so much as to when this server connected to the ranks and then people started bitching. This games been around a long time and with the exception of a few extremely overpowered weapons, people haven't cried any time something gets challenging. When a weapon killed somebody in 1 shot, then there was a large complaint. If a shotgun takes 3 solid and direct shots to kill a prop, then the props learned not to run in a straight line and watch out when somebody had a shotgun out.

Is it possible to lock out the heavy miniguns, or increase the damage they cause? Currently it detracts from the fun we have in there. We're always (yes, always) asking heavies to put the minigun away.
It enables them to spray all over the place. If we either lock them out or increase the damage the heavy takes, it will make it more fair.
