Seasonal Maps - Halloween
« on: March 12, 2014, 01:05:57 am »
Heya! It's been suggested to me that we have maps in a "seasonal" rotation, such as removing a few of the maps until Halloween. These being mostly the spooky/manor maps and the fact that they are the only ones with a definite holiday theme that we have. This way, we can kind of differentiate from the same rotation every other day with maps and enjoy the Halloween maps (and the non-Halloween maps) a bit more since they aren't always around. We could have them for just the month of October, or even maybe September - December to make them a little more playable than just one month. Thoughts anyone?

Current list:
Spooky Ravine
Manor Event
Manor Grounds
Spooky Harvest

I would say maybe if you guys can turn Mountain Lab (an "everyday" alternative to Manor Grounds and Manor Event) and Ravine into prop hunt maps, otherwise it's a no. To me, Spooky Harvest and regular Harvest are two different maps: Spooky Harvest has a larger area and more hiding spots  than regular Harvest, which is most suitable for a full server. If you get rid of Spooky Harvest until a specified time of the year, you will be removing a good map for full or near-full games.

If happiness could take on a physical form, happiness might resemble glass: although you do not usually notice it, the glass is definitely there. You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
