Please use this poll to vote for the kind of change you'd like to see with boss sets and voting in the FF2 server.

You should advertise this thread on the FF2 server to let more users know of the poll.

I'd like it being completely random. Stops everyone from voting the same sets over and over, to get some of the good bosses everyone wants to fight/play as.

when ever i was on the server but im going to be on normal tf for a while people just spam the one button like in my old post i said people will not explore our wonderful sets of hale they want to play the horrible sets aka 1 and 2

The general consensus in game seems to be "I don't feel like making an account to vote"

From a quick sample of players on the server:
[SM] Vote successful. (Received 67% of 18 votes)
[SM] The answer to How should boss voting be changed is: Remove set voting entirely and randomly select sets.
I'll likely do some more in-game polls later in the day to get a better idea of what players who play later in the day prefer, but it seems so far that players are leaning towards removing boss set voting entirely.

y didnt we get all this player voting to make 3 sets
then 5 sets

Splitting the bosses across more sets was a decision I made to reduce how much content would need to initially be downloaded by clients.

i swear to god when ever we had the sets everyone just doesnt give two shits about wat set has wat in it so they just spam the set that is one or 2 then keep on doing it until we got propane or bg on

Even though it may be a little late to suggest a new idea, but instead of sticking to 6 defined sets, have the server scramble all the hales and randomly choose 23 hales from any set to be playable on that map.
Also, all us donators wish we could choose a hale from ANY set at any time. I do see one problem with that though - new users who haven't downloaded all the bosses yet. But one can wish...

That may be a change done further into the future, as it would require some significant reworking of the FF2 code. For now having the set be randomly selected and manually scrambling the sets every now and then is ideal.

As you mentioned, this isn't something that's easily feasible. The bosses need to be spread across sets in order to distribute the amount of content downloaded.

its like coming to a sever and me have to download models and sounds for 4 hours time well wasted now its 10 mins for each set
