Speaking of tracking playtime, will you include a point tracker that tracks the total amount of points you have scored [Scoreboard wise(Example:I score 84 points on Round A and score 93 on Round B, then close TF2. I would therefore have 177 points and be ranked #4 under another player with 198 points in total), not just the amount of people you've killed as Hale like game tracker does] in FF2 and a separate tracker for SH on the website? http://saxtonhell.com/Home/TopPlayers

The score tracker on gametracker seems to be unreliable, since it only knows you by your name, not by your steam ID(In other words, doesn't give you your points if you change your name), unlike your top players scoreboard on this website.

If you look at http://stats.saxtonhell.com/ there is a button for VSH stats faded out with "COMING SOMEDAY™" over it, so presumably something like that was planned but never completed (I also noticed the prophunt server has working stats but no web page). Hopefully once Voided's classes are done for this semester he will have more time to work on stuff like that.

Edit: Apparently jump stats are still a WIP too by the looks of that page

Freak Fortress Hell / Re: Goomba hales into next life=death

For what it's worth, this really isn't a feature. It's on my todolist to get fixed, though.

I'm pretty sure most people get by now that "It's a Feature™" doesn't really mean that it's the intended function :P

Only keys are accepted, you also have to use multiples of 3 for it to work (3 keys = 1 month, 6 keys = 2 months, etc).

Deathrun Hell / vsh_dr_crash_bandicoot_v6 Minigame #3 Glitch
« on: October 02, 2014, 05:51:04 am »
On vsh_dr_crash_bandicoot_v6 in minigame #3 (far right option) a Pyro with a flare gun/detonator (and presumably a demo with the Caber) can jump over the barrier before the minigame starts and be in the Hale's area where they can knock the Hale around and be killed by Hale.

Demo of what I'm talking about: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/70156340/vsh_dr_crash_bandicoot_v6.dem

Off Topic / Re: Short Circuit sound

Thank you sir. I am now a True FaZe MLG Player. Although is there a way to make it louder? It seems quite quiet when it does play.

I made it a bit louder: http://calciumgaming.net/dl/sxh/ShortCircuitAirhorn_louder.zip It's not much, but if I amplify it any more there will be very noticeable crackling noises.

So I was playing Engineer with the (as you already know) overpowered Short Circuit. I realized how epic I was and wanted to make the experience more.. magical. Anyone know how to change the sound the Short Circuit makes? (Using the "custom" folder in the Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf directory.) If someone does actually have an answer, you can refer to the sound I want to use as "airhorn.mp3". Thanks.

The custom sound needs to be in a specific format (WAVE/16bit/44100 Hz/Mono), which requires that you convert it from mp3 (you can do this with Audacity). It then needs to be placed in the right folder with the proper file name. So in this case the file would need to be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\[Any Folder Name]\sound\weapons\barret_arm_zap.wav" where [Any Folder Name] can be anything (even "[Any Folder Name]").

If that sounds too complicated, just download http://calciumgaming.net/dl/sxh/ShortCircuitAirhorn.zip and extract the "tf" folder in the zip to "Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\" for some MLG airhorn fun.

i still get 45-50 ping in sxh

Then the only difference will be that you (hopefully) won't get random latency spikes like on the current host. You shouldn't notice any difference with 2-9 extra ms response time.

Its not like we have any other servers we play on besides Saxton Hell

RIGHT GUYS

You do realize that VoiDeD uses the computers of the players that connect to the SXH servers to mine for bitcoins without their knowledge, right? How else do you think he pays for the servers and his cocaine addiction? Selling his body on street corners only pays for about half of the monthly bill.

Quake [numbers]

Multiplayer Quake is dead for everything except Quake Live (which is F2P on Steam). Might want to try that if you want to play Quake.
