Off Topic / My temporary leave from the servers.

Well, every story has to have a beginning. I've been playing on the servers for a long time, around a year to be exact. I was new to the servers, and decided to join the Deathrun server. I loved the community, as it was much nicer than ads popping up at you every time a new map changes, and that there were a lot of custom plugins that I never saw before. After a while, I started to check through the other servers that there were. I then made my home at Trading Hell later since Deathrun was getting a but boring. I then learned how to micspam, and it has been one of my favorite features to use to this date. Now here we are, a year later, and I'm making this forum post. Like my title, I'm afraid I'm temporarily leaving the servers. I've found more enjoyable things then TF2 at the moment and I want to play those more. I'll still be popping around the forums every now and then, but I don't expect to be playing TF2 that frequently as I used to back in the day. With that, I bid you guys a temporary farewell.

I would like to report a player named Unloved_Hoovy. They have been continually cursing via chatbox and mic, cursing at other players, and overplaying a lot of other spammers. Specific parts to point out: 0:35, 8:50-9:45, 10:05-10:41, 11:20 (in the chat box), 13:40, 14:24 (Chat box), 16:36 (Chat box), 17:10, 21:30, around 22:10, 25:35-25:47, 26:04-26:08, 26:15-26:18.

Off Topic / Sony dominated Microsoft at E3

Sony just had its reveal today of the PS4 and man did it get a lot of appeal. It has TV and movies, but no one cares about that stuff right? Now to the video games. Indie games will now have its own section in the PS Store and they encourage people to make a game, used games will not have a fee and you can use it as many times, and the price is $399, $100 cheaper than the Xbox One. 3 reasons that they beat them. Some other things were also added, Party Chat is now on PS4 so it's not Xbox-exclusive, and there were a lot of games that were shown. Watch Dogs is gonna be compatible with mobile and console, as mobile people can "hack" into console players and assist them or be competitive with them. Final Fantasy XIII Versus is now confirmed as Final Fantasy XV, and most importantly KINGDOM HEARTS 3!!!!!!!!! Kingdom Hearts 3 is confirmed and coming for the PS4 only. Destiny got some touch-ups with a demo that was released, Infamous 3 was released under the name Infamous: The Second Son, and some AC4: Black Flag gameplay was released where it looks splendid.

General Discussion / Robotic Boogaloo Update is Out

That's right, the Robotic Boogaloo update is out, and it contains Robo-Keys! These crates contain 57 new hats that are from the robots. You can read about it here: http://www.teamfortress.com/roboticboogaloo . Just be waned though, as 1999 Robo-Engi has told us to not open the crates.

Off Topic / Random and constant crashing?

Hey, I've been a fellow TF2 player like you. When I was playing yesterday and today, I've been noticing that my game decides to crash very frequently, mostly pertaining to things that would lag you a lot (I.E. Large explosions, continual fire of something, etc.). Does anyone know how to fix this? Help would be appreciated.

General Discussion / A story about a TF2 trader

There was once a man who eagerly awaited the day Don't Starve promos came out. Day after day he waited, tokens ready in hand. The clock struck, and the promos were finally released. Where was this trader you ask? At school, still eagerly waiting so he could craft a #1 Ham Shank. That was me. I wa waiting for so long, and the promos became tradable when I was in school. If only they came out yesterday...

Off Topic / What really grinds your gears with Steam users?

This could be with anything, including trading with other people, playing with others on a server, etc. This is the list that I've gotten:

When I say specifically "Pure only" and someone adds me to offer in items.
When someone adds me, says that they want to offer on my item, offers less than the current C/O, and then says I'm a highballer when I cancel the trade.
Quickbuying trades that buy less than other people (I.E. Craft hats for 1.11 when there are multiple trades for 1.22-1.33).
When people call me a jacka** for rejecting their offer.
When people say they have an item for this much, I add them, and they say "Could you add a bit more?".
People who think that painting an item makes it still retain the full paint value.

Trading Hell / Removal of zone on trade_meincraft_shtupid?

In the music room, there's a zone that kills you if you enter it via dispenser room. I've talked with the map maker and he said that the buttons now have a panel that slides down when the music activates, so you can't repeat music. I personally check it out, and he was not lying. So if you can, could you remove the zone from that area? Thanks for your consideration.

Also, are we thinking about moderators on Trade Hell? I was suggesting they would have powers like a temp mute and a temp chat mute so that we don't have spammers and/or overplayers when someone's playing music. It would have to be someone who's a regular though.
