This happened in the Dodgeball hell server.

What went down is this: I was playing on the map hotnuke when there was a nuke coming towards me and I failed to airblast it. The player, Ace walked behind me when this was happening, so he got killed in the blast radius. Then he started a fit about being killed . He proceeds to say I should kill myself in real life, whilst calling me names like retarded.

This is essentially the entire reason the clientside mute feature exists.
