Title: Anti-Spawn killing System (question to admin)

Today i've noticed, that players can kill me even if i'm in godmode. Then i understood that there is a new system that turns off godmode when i'm near the enemy spawn. Sometimes it turns off even if i'm not near the enemy spawn.
I don't prefer to kill people with godmode, but like to airblast myself or shoot myself as a soldier.
Question: Could you (administators) turn off this bad system?
I understand that there are a lot of players who spawn-killing, but other player can airblast them as a pyro or other.
This system shows me that it was a mistake to donate.
I hope you will understand me. Write your opinion about the system.

Mhm yep, biggest reason I'm really against it. Not like you can't stop donators in the first place.

Bonk scouts, dead ringer spies, airblasting, ubers, etc. You could easily uber a pyro and go annoy any spawncamper.

OR another donor can simply do the same, there's TON of us.

And it's just a trade server, people need to learn to not care.

And on another note, this lets donors troll OTHER DONORS, worse than regular airblasting, and huntsman taunt-stunlocking. I'm pretty sure I know who you are, anon, since I airblasted you a couple times towards my spawn if you are who I think you are, and caused you to lose god mode, then smacking you with my Axetinguisher :P

On another note though, trade server maps are always so badly designed, spawn point wise, this lets spawncamping happen no matter what, donors or not. Except for the new minecraft realms one. That one is actually legit.

No, you made a mistake, that's not me  :)

I've written this post because i'm tired to turn on the godmode every time when i'm staying (or flying) near the enemy spawn)

God mode deactivating when not near spawn areas is a bug that I'll be fixing. The rest is working by design.

I'd rather the trade server be a server for actual trading, and not a server where people dick around and drive off other players due to spawn camping.

 but when i'm trading, what i do in game? Just stay in one place and wait when someone will notice my trade items? I think everyone airblast or fight with the enemy or other while they trade.

That's fine, you can do that if you want as long as it's away from the other team's spawn area.

Ok, but some players specially airblast to spawn and then kill.
Or i'm not going to fight and just jumping or flying. So i must do it near my spawn and this is it? Very funny

Most trade maps are pretty large, I don't see what the problem is with avoiding the other team's spawn.

The only place I can see this likely being an issue is on trade_celshade_r2, but even then I think it's fairly easy to avoid the other spawn.

Not only trade_celshade_r2.
Even if they large, i don't feel comfortable because anytime i can be killed even if i don't fight.
It was very funny to play as a little heavy and eat near the enemy spawn, and players who saw that do the same, and all this has turned into a little flash mob.
Not only this i do.
Almost nobody likes this system i think.

This antispawnkilling system has a lot of bugs (it shows spawn even if this spawn place is situated far far away), i didn't pay money to see this things i think.
Remove this system,please,previously, there were no problems

Really, now i  know - this system is a piece of *bad word* which doesn't work correctly (my spawn became the enemy spawn), thank admin, "good job"

Yes, there are some bugs. But Voided just said he's working on fixing those bugs. I don't understand why anyone would be upset with an admin who actually takes care of his servers. And after such bugs are fixed, is it really that hard to stay away from the enemy spawn? As already stated, most maps are big enough where this should not be a problem, even if you are doing something such as rocket/sticky jumping.

Sounds like you are starting to get it. The fixes will be put in in the next few weeks as Voidy finds the time to fix it.

In the mean time, why not learn to air strafe? This could save you from being pushed into a spawn area and having godmode removed.

The plugin should be fixed now. If there are cases where it's still "randomly" disabling godmode, please provide the map name or preferably a screenshot so I can look into it.

It's not exactly bugs, but the barrier is surrounding the ENTIRE spawn block, not just near the spawn door.

Since the main area of the map is extremely small, this causes problems.
