FortWar Hell / The future of this server

Alright well, I don't think the future of fortwar hell looks that great.

Since valve changed neutral ctf to be the special delivery gamemode (doomsday), it's made the game much harder to play as the intel needs to reset in order to be picked up.

This, coupled with the fact that the server isn't hugely popular like our other ones puts it in a bad place where some other kind of gamemode will replace it. I'll give it a few weeks to see if it becomes any more popular, and then we'll see what happens afterwards.

General Discussion / Server Status

Alright well, the latest TF2 update has knocked out most of our servers. Right now all of our VSH and FF2 servers are down, in addition to Zombie Fortress. What a pain. In addition to that, our tail/cape plugin was knocked out of commission as well, so that will be disabled for the time being.

I'm waiting for the latest SourceMod updates to come around and fix our issues. Fingers crossed that it'll be soon.

In the mean time: zzZZZz.

Hey guys, I've implemented some statistics tracking in dodgeball. So far it's tracking reflect speeds on maps, but I'll be adding more soon-ish.

Deathrun Hell / Scout Balancing

Alright well. It's pretty clear that scouts need to be balanced in deathrun in order to make it fun for everyone.

I don't think I want to remove the class, but I'm not excluding this option.

So far the current balancing we've done is limit bonk usage to once only, and limit the class to 3 players.

Some things I've considered include removing double jump, removing bonk entirely, and perhaps slowing their speed to match other classes.

Let me know what you guys think would be good options for making scout fair for everyone.

Trading Hell / Scrap Bank Bot

Hey guys. I made an automated scrapbank bot for our community.

To use it, you just have to join the trade server and use the !scrapbank command.

Right now it's suffering from a lack of scrap metal, so if anyone would like to give some away, that'd be great!
