Title: Plugins?
Post by: Shooter` on January 29, 2013, 08:11:11 pm
I think it would be neat if you added the plugin from Jump Hell that shows who is spectating you. Also, the /skeys plugin. Is this possible?

Although if it is possible could there be a chat command to toggle / un-toggle as I can imagine it clogging up the screen in some scenarios.

I've added the speclist plugin. You can use the !speclist command to enable/disable it.

Thanks, would it be possible to get the /skeys plugin too or is that integrated into jump mod? I noticed we got JumpiT's jump mod around the same time we got their version of the showkeys plugin.

We run our own custom jump mode plugin and a modified version of the original skeys plugin.

I'll have to consider skeys, since it's a bandwidth heavy plugin. I might make some modifications and then put it in.

And done!

Should behave very similar to the plugin on jump, but will be a little less accurate with key press timings.

Not sure if it's related but after you said it was a bandwidth heavy version would that explain the sudden lag spikes that have been cropping up for me today?

Thanks for the plugin btw, it's amusing seeing who's spec'ing you

It's bandwidth heavy in the sense that it pushes a lot of data when drawing keys on a client's screen.

The jump server version will draw every frame, for maximum accuracy, while the prophunt version will draw every 0.10 seconds. It shouldn't cause any lag spikes, though.
