General Discussion / The saxton hell revival group!

Everyone has been discussing and wishing for the servers to gain players again, but no action has been taken, so me and some others have created this group and are doing other things to revive the server. So come and join i guess.

At first we will host events for Deathrun Hell, but as more people get on board we will focus on other servers.
I have some new deathrun map ports in the works so look forward to that.
Share the word cause thats only how we're gonna get this server back and played on.

Deathrun Hell / Music Rooms

It really sucks that the music rooms on Office and Egypt have been blocked by killzones on the server, they are really fun to try to achieve. So here are some suggestions to make them accessible again.

1. vsh_dr_office_v2
- A fix for this one could be to have the killzones activate as the motivator passes the area, very much like what was done with delay b2. This one is pretty much the essential music room and I really want to see it added.

2.vsh_dr_egypt_v4
- Not sure if this one is possible to do, however the solution would be to have the button with the name of "pit_button_activate" which activates relay "pit_button_relay"disable the killzone in the first pit (where the music room is) , that mentioned button enables a teleport for people to escape from the pit, and besides, when the motivator reaches the end of the map, everyone is killed. This would add an element of teamwork to the easteregg, having one person activate the button to disable, and 1 person to wait around and fall in the pit, (and press the button that unlocks the room)

I think that quiches maps have to go (except may) because there lack of good design in all areas of his maps, gameplay, bugs, features, traps, geometry, visuals, and more. He fucks up his ports by adding unnecessary things and even adding those things badly too, Quiche's maps have gotten the most hate so far in the community. +Factory should be removed too, It's fullbright, bland traps, overuse of guessing doors, repeated traps, not fun to play, ugly as something  really ugly and has poor design. (any fullbright maps that aren't based on a fullbright source should be removed, and currently that's only factory)

My god having 2 of the same map with LITTLE DIFFERENCE really pisses me and other people off. It adds unnecessary time to wait to play a map again and since the map is bad in many people's opinions it pisses people off when the other version is suddenly the nextmap. I'm getting pissed at some of the choices this server makes :I

I choose to keep b4 as the fireballs in b3 have a big hitbox and the platforms are more easily griefable. +b4 has more fixes.
